Hamata offers fantastic conditions. I went to the kite-village in Hamata and although they experience a tourism boom at the moment, it is still one of my favorite spots to go for a quick ride or practise freestyle tricks. The kite-village is approximately 7 kilometres north of the Wadi Lahmy Azur Resort. The spot offers a 1 x 2 kilometre big.

Unlike other Egyptian spots, it is pretty green and diverse on the water with a scenic mangrove forest upwind of you and three beautiful islands with reefs a little bit further out.
